Our Story

Having owned a successful bricks and mortar florist in the leafy Melbourne suburb of Hawthorn, we know what it means to people to offer a personalised and friendly service with expert advice and exquisite product.

Working from our shopfront, we noticed a growing problem - people were looking for a convenient and efficient floral delivery service online, but were frustrated with their choices. They could support their local florists, but their websites were usually clunky and hard to use. Or, they could use a world famous online florist, but risk sending gifts that didn't look anything the product they ordered.

We (founders Nadina Hughes and Rob Lambert) felt we had the unique skill set to tackle the problem, with Nadina providing the floristry skills and Rob the technical know how, to achieve a service that would provide stunning flowers, expert florist advice and an effective and efficient website and delivery system.

Our first online flower delivery service, Flowers Across Melbourne was launched in 2011, and since then, we've built a range of brands that bring personalised gifting to the digital space.
